· the purpose of various regulatory obligations of Mutual company board members

· the board’s obligations under:

o the Insurance Act

o the Corporations Act

o other Acts (ie. PIPEDA, Tax & Related Statutes, Workplace & Safety Acts, Crime & Terrorist Financing Act, Automobile Rate Stabilization Act….etc.

· how regulatory obligations are met by Mutual company board members

This is a mandatory course within the governance section of the OMIA Director Certificate program.
